Helicopter ER star Volunteers at British Pageant

Helicopter ER star, Sammy Wills, is taking a holiday with a difference this year, volunteering as the lead first aider at the recent British Pageant in Chorley. Sammy from Stocksbridge near Sheffield is often seen on the TV program Helicopter ER helping to save lives of people in difficulty as she works full time for Yorkshire Air Ambulance as a Paramedic.

The Pageant is an inspiring major theatrical Victorian musical production telling the stories from journals and letters about why and how early members of the Church immigrated to the USA to freely worship, practice their faith and hear the voice of a living Prophet.

Sammy said, "My desire to volunteer for The British Pageant was immediate, however my talents do not lie on the stage!  It is a privilege to be able to combine my beliefs as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and amalgamate it with my passion for helping other people, this time as a First aider."
